Plagiarism Policy

All new submissions are automatically screened by Editorial Office using iThenticate. The editorial board of International Journal of Academic Studies complies with the following rules for plagiarism policy:

  •  The articles with an overall similarity index of greater than 20% are rejected without proceeding for the formal peer review. In such cases, the author(s) will be asked to re-revise the article within three weeks.
  • Similarity index for single source must be equal to or lower than 3%.
  • Editors may also choose to run a similarity report at any other point during the review process or post-publication.

Furthermore, regardless of the similarity rate, any expression and/or block of similarity taken from a source without citing the relevant source will be returned to the author without being evaluated.

The above mentioned rules are accepted by all authors who have uploaded articles to the Journal.
