Abstract

Abstract

Beginning with the Georgian War in the Black Sea Region in 2008, the annexation of the Autonomous Region of Crimea to Russia in 2014, and then the conflicts with Ukraine and the developments in Russia-Western relations, Russia's not only for establishing a regional policy, but also for a new constitutes a foreign policy concept. This process, from the 2008 Georgian-Russian War to the Annexation of Crimea, shows that Russian foreign policy has hardened and has taken concrete steps to defend itself against NATO and Western bloc countries. Although the Ukraine-Russia conflicts have not ended, the Russian-Georgian war in the region, the annexation of Crimea to Russia and the restriction of the rights and freedoms of the Russian ethnicity in these regions, on the political pressures and actions in these regions, by basing this process on these actions theoretically, we will discuss Russian foreign policy through some international relations theories.
